telephones, the Farmers who would travel from
miles around to attend the live radio broadcast
of The Wheeling Jamboree would bring cow-bells
from their farms. When they would ring-out from
the audience, loved-ones back home could
distinguish the sound, letting everyone know
they made it to Wheeling safely! |
