February 17, 2014 Federal Communications Commission approves construction permit to Wheeling Jamboree, Inc. for operations of our wholly owned and operated FM station. WWOV will operate on 101.1 on the FM Dial at completion of the transmitter facility.    
December 1, 2013 Jamboree announces 81st Anniversary Celebration featuring numerous Jamboree Alumni Stars to be held April 5, 2014.    
October 12, 2013 Singer Songwriter Stacy Grubb is the first new Artist Inducted as cast member of the Jamboree since the era of Brad Paisley.
Along with Bobby Marquez, Shana Smith, Shelby Nestler and Jim Wilson make Country Music History becoming members.
   
June 19, 2013 Jamboree board of Directors member and attorney for the Estate of Hank Williams, passed away at the age of 69.
F. "Keith" Adkinson was also husband to entertainer Jett Williams who also is a board member of the Jamboree.

June 8, 2012 Long time Jamboree Entertainer Ray Couture Passes at 94 AKA: Abner Doolittle. He joined the Wheeling Jamboree in the mid 1940's with Lone Pine and Betty Cody and as a member of Hawkshaw Hawkins band, playing guitar and remained to lead the staff band for a number of years. Ray was instrumental in the careers of many musicians.    
May 8, 2012 One of the forefathers of Bluegrass, Jamboree and WV Hall of Fame member Everett Lilly passed away at age 87.    
April 29, 2012 Jamboree Hall of Fame member Yodeling Kenny Roberts passed away at age 85.
