June 8, 2012 Long time Jamboree Entertainer Ray Couture Passes at 94 AKA: Abner Doolittle. He joined the Wheeling Jamboree in the mid 1940's with Lone Pine and Betty Cody and as a member of Hawkshaw Hawkins band, playing guitar and remained to lead the staff band for a number of years. Ray was instrumental in the careers of many musicians.
